Note the graffiti on the rocks, weird shadows and rocks in the forefront, and other issues.
After Picnik:And after even more Picnik:
Have I told you how much I like the photo editing website Picnik? I have? Oh, that's right, I have.....back when I was a Picnik newbie.
I'm hardly a seasoned veteran, but I've come to like Picnik so much, I'm now a subscriber. The beauty of Picnik is that you don't have to be a subscriber to enjoy it. Many of the photo editing tools they have are FREE. You don't even have to install special software to use it.
Just:
Download photos onto the Picnik site, using your secure profile.
Edit the photos to your heart's content.
Save the edited versions as JPG files anywhere you wish: on your computer, a photosharing site, etc.
Once you have your edited pics saved, you can use them anywhere you like. You can download them for printing from your favorite photolab, post them on your blog, scrapbook them.....whatever you want!
Picnik is one of my favorite discoveries. That's why I'm offering
a Picnik Giveaway today!
(Scroll down for more details, and lots more photo befores and afters.)
I love how easy it is to use Picnik. I didn't have to read any manuals or pull my hair out in frustration. I just followed a couple of basic tutorials on the site, played around a whole bunch, and I was off and running. Look how much fun a mom can have with her pictures:
That's my original, of Justone at the living history farm. And now, my Picnik edits:
And here's another original (remember the mangy donkey?), with more cropping and fun edits. The original:
The edits:
And don't even get me started with the fonts......
Picnik enables you to add all kinds of text and graphics to your photos. I've used Picnik to create all of the blog buttons and many of the tutorials for this blog.
Picnik gives you the ability to create fun collages with your pictures, too. And then you can add text to the collages, if you want! The collages make it easy to custom design blog headers, Christmas cards, etc.
You, like me, could have way too much fun with Picnik. And I want you to! After telling a Picnik representative how much I like their website, they offered to provide free one-month subscriptions to their website for three of you! (*Disclaimer: I am not being paid to advertise for Picnik.)
1. For one entry, leave a comment.
2. For two entries, become a follower and let me know in a separate comment. Subscribing to me in Google Reader counts, too! If you already follow or subscribe, let me know that (again, in a separate comment.)
3. For three entries, blog about this giveaway or let your Facebook friends know about it. Simply let me know you've done so in a separate comment.
Because I will email you a code for your free one month subscription, shipping will not be an issue. (Yay!) That means that this giveaway is open to my blog readers from anywhere in the world!

ReplyDeleteWow! Picnic is amazing! I loved your story about the visit to Rileys. I agree that Lily fulfilled part of her mission by bringing Dr. Hainline into Superkids life.
